Presenting on Audiobooks at Arizona State University
In April 2025, I had the great privilege of holding a presentation on Audiobooks in conjunction with Arizona State University’s Entrepreneurial division called the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute, which create spaces where local entrepreneurs can connect, learn and grow together. This opportunity sprung from an event that I had attended in November 2024 called Authorpreneurship: Pen to Profit, where a bunch of authors, myself as an audiobook narrator, and my friend Tony Pham, who is an animator and illustrator, came together to talk about the business of authorship and entrepreneurship! I met some really great people that day, people with big hearts and big dreams, people who are working to make the world a better place by sharing the information that they have gleaned from being entrepreneurs and creative subject matter experts.
We had over half a dozen people attend the event, which was intimate enough to get everyone’s questions answered and voices heard. I felt happy to be able to share the experience I’ve gained over almost a decade of audiobook work.

I even auctioned off a free audiobook trailer video, valued at $800, which was awarded to a beautiful Author in the audience.
