Meet Lace | Bad Ass Boss Babe of the Toshigawa Universe!
I am SO excited to join the super talented crew of the Toshigawa Universe! And I am absolutely THRILLED to announce my role as LACE in the epic Graphic Novel Series Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa!
Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa is about a young Japanese woman, born into a ninja clan, that is trapped between her wishes and her destiny. The story delves into Japanese culture and lore, while also maintaining all of the modernities of the 21st Century, which is when the story takes place.
A 25 year long-standing comic book series by Martheus and Janet Wade, The Toshigawa clan has long guarded Japan from the shadows. Now, the emperor of Japan, Terminus, wants to destroy the remaining members of the Toshigawa clan. The only person that can stop him is his daughter, Shianndrea! Conflicted between the life she once knew, the love she holds dear, and an uncertain future, Shianndrea trains for the faithful day she must face her powerful father in combat to determine the fate of Japan.
I’ll be playing LACE. She’s known to the Japanese as “the American Empress” and considers herself “one of the most powerful women in the world”. Her fake love for her people has won over the naysayers of a foreign woman raising rising to such dominance in Japan. However, there is darkness that surrounds her alluring smile.
Fake, deadly, patronizing - LACE is a blonde bombshell bad guy and the new wife of Emperor Terminus of Japan. I am honored to breathe a human voice into to this powerful woman. I can’t WAIT to channel all of my love, inner darkness and angst and bring to life this beautiful character!
