I'm in the Guinness Book of World Records... TWICE!
Today, I found out that the Virtual Podfest Podcasting Conference Expo that I had participated in set ANOTHER world record for "The largest attendance for a virtual podcasting conference in one week is 5,816 participants, and was achieved by Podfest Expo (USA) from 01-05 March 2021."

At the November 2021 event, I was a speaker leading my own virtual session on "The Top 5 Secrets to Narrating and Producing Your Own High Quality Audio Drama Podcast". You may remember me posting something about it if you follow me on Instagram.
Now, it takes a MINUTE for the Guinness Book of World Records to actually certify any record result. Months, actually. But today, Chris Krimitsos emailed us with the following note:

THANK YOU so much to the Podfam for coming out 2 years in a row to help us break our previous record and set a new one of 5,816 attendees."
You may be wondering what the big deal is about attending these events?
Well for me, I gained many new friendships, potential clients, potential podcast collaborations and a whole lot of actionable advice and material that I could apply IMMEDIATELY and DIRECTLY to my podcast production process, our podcast media kit, not to mention all of the resources I would never have known existed for podcasting if I hadn't attended the event.
