My Journey in Video Games : Meet Elvira from Path To Nowhere!
In early 2025, I had the distinct pleasure of auditioning for the Strategic Role Play Game (SRPG) Path to Nowhere. This is one of the most visually beautiful games I’ve ever seen! So, it was a joy when the team reached out asking me to voice several NPC’s (Non-playable Characters). The interesting part about the process was that my Animation Demo was submitted as the audition, not a customized script. When they said “yes” to bringing me on-board, I still had no idea what role I was going to play!
I can release this information now because the game has been released and people are now aware of my character and the game play! Often, we voice actors have to sign NDA’s on the projects that we are working on… and it’s a win-win-win because the client gets to keep creating in relative secrecy, the public doesn’t have to deal with #spoilers and our agents are protected from any drama that could ensue from spilling the beans too early, as well!
Later in this post, I’ll give you a list of where you can find the known instances of my characters, to date. I will be voicing MORE characters in the game (YIPPPEEEE, thank you PTN!). But for now, this is what I can share. :)
In Path to Nowhere (2022), by Aisno Games, "players assume the role of the chief of the Minos Bureau of Crisis Control (MBCC), where they control and command the character called a "Sinner" to discover uncharted territories and unveil the reality behind numerous enigmatic occurrences. The game setting happens in a fictional city named DisCity - the world's only megalopolis after an apocalypse shattered global ecology and brought forth mutation-inducing Mania.
The "Sinners" are a group of mutated and dangerous convicts. They have lost their minds, but gained extraordinary abilities.
Assemble units based on the "Sinner's" unique abilities and strategize to defeat enemies by using the "Sinner's" powerful ultimate abilities in battle. In addition, powerful enemies have "cores" can be destroyed by using an ultimate skill. Enemies with broken cores will then be unable to act, and will take far more damage.” - Source: Wikipedia
For my first session, I was asked to play THREE different characters. One of the most prolific NPC’s in the game was Elvira (el-VEE-rah), the 15 year old daughter of a prominent political figure in DisCity. She is the young charge of a Sinner named Jelena.
I really enjoyed the direction around this character, as the creator explained to me the emotional arc the character would be experiencing throughout the game. It was so helpful, and informed my creation of her voice - in symphony with the Japanese voice actor’s performance and established character.
I also was cast as the host of Truth or Troll, a popular podcast in DisCity following all of the drama and discord of DisCity Election Politics. I really identified with this role, as I was the host of a podcast and have played the part of “host” many times in my career in online webinars and interviews. I was grateful to the client and casting director in choosing this role for me, as it was absolutely perfect. (The clean cut woman with the badge - that’s me!)
I also play Death, who shows up in Chapter 15 Part 7 of the Undercurrents storyline. She’s a teen, nude, in a tub, plotting death and destruction for DisCity. Delicious.

What an honor to play alongside some PHENOMENAL voice actors in this game (some of them I’m lucky enough to call “friend”).
